Local Street is a platform that connects users with local vendors for delivery of food, groceries, and other products. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how orders are delivered through our platform.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed instantly upon successful confirmation.
  • Once placed, orders cannot be modified unless allowed within the platform.
  • Vendors begin preparation immediately after order confirmation.

2. Delivery Timelines

  • Delivery time varies depending on:
    • Vendor preparation time
    • Distance from the vendor
    • Traffic and weather conditions
  • Estimated delivery time is shown at checkout.
  • Local Street does not guarantee exact delivery time.

3. Delivery Areas

  • Local Street currently provides delivery services in select serviceable locations.
  • The availability of delivery services depends on vendor presence, delivery partner availability, and operational feasibility in a given area.
  • Users will be able to check serviceability by:
    • Entering their address on the platform, or
    • Viewing available vendors in their location
  • Local Street reserves the right to:
    • Add or remove serviceable areas at any time without prior notice
    • Decline orders from locations that are not serviceable

4. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery charges (if applicable) are displayed at checkout.
  • Charges may vary based on factors such as:
    • Distance
    • Demand and availability of Delivery partners
  • Pricing may be dynamically adjusted based on real-time availability and service conditions, including inputs from delivery partners.
  • Delivery services are fulfilled by independent delivery partners.
  • Final delivery charges will always be clearly communicated to the user before order confirmation.

5. Order Tracking

  • Users can track their order in real-time through the Local Street app.

6. Failed Delivery

  • If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery:
    • The order may be marked as completed
    • No re-delivery or refund will be provided
  • Re-delivery, if attempted, will be at the sole discretion of Local Street or the delivery partner.

7. Vendor Responsibility

  • Vendors are responsible for:
    • Preparing the order
    • Maintaining quality and hygiene
  • Local Street acts only as a facilitator and is not responsible for:
    • Food quality
    • Preparation delays

8. Delays & Service Interruptions

  • Delays may occur due to:
    • High order volumes
    • Weather conditions
    • Traffic or operational issues
  • Local Street shall not be held liable for such delays.
